TWENTY ONE PILOTS is back on the road with a new record behind their backs. The American alt-rock & electro pop duo just released their new single “The Contract,” in high anticipation of their new album “Breach” out this September. This fall, the “Stressed Out” hitmakers are down and ready to hit the skies for another trip across North America. Excited to see all of you rock out to their big hits and new music, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun are stirring up fiery nights as they always do.
“We are getting back on the road for one more trip around North America,” the duo shared on Instagram, announcing their new tour with clips of their past shows.
The duo’s new song debuted with a sci-fi-inspired video, featuring eerie figures, out-of-this-world energies, Dun’s intense drumming, and visuals that were used in Breach’s album cover. Shortly after its release, tons of fans have expressed how they were left mind blown after watching the clip and hearing their new track. It marks the start of a huge era. Serving as an introduction to Breach, the record picks up where “Clancy” left off. “Just take the deal/ I promised you/ A contract,” Josh pleads in the song.
“This song sent my brain into a cosmic spin around the sun,” a fan wrote in the comments, as cited from a feature article by PEOPLE.
“I have a feeling this is gonna be the darkest era yet and I am here for it,” another one wrote.
What seems to be a ‘breach’ in the contract, Twenty One Pilots is taking it all out.
