Gallop out the gates with "The Trooper" from Piece of the Mind, then the greatest metal song ever, "Hallowed Be Thy Name" from The Number of the Beast. And get ready to run "Run to the Hills," Iron Maiden's first UK Top 10 single. Why are we running? "Fear of the Dark"! And finally, we come full circle back to 1982 with the Satanic Panic backlash track "The Number of the Beast."
This is their “most spectacular and elaborate show ever,” and you have to be there. Tickets are available now from TicketSqueeze.com starting from just $71.
“This whole tour has been such great fun. I really enjoy belting out all these great old songs, and the whole band are loving playing them too! We’ve got all the big ones from that early period including Hallowed, Run To The Hills, Trooper, Number Of The Beast, Killers, Powerslave, 2 Minutes… and some of them we haven’t played in the US for over 20 years!! Plus there’s some real epics including my particular favourite ‘Rime of the Ancient Mariner’ and Seventh Son… We are doing them all and more. I mean, who wouldn’t for a 50th birthday party!”
The Run For Your Lives world tour will take you through Iron Maiden's first nine studio albums, from their 1980s Iron Maiden to 1992's Fear of the Dark. A massive, once-in-a-lifetime 50th anniversary celebration that's so good, you'll want to see it again, literally their “most spectacular and elaborate show ever”!
The tour launched over in Europe in May 2025, marking their formation in 1975. It finally gets around to North America on August 29th, 2026, at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, and will hit Jiffy Lube Live on Friday, September 11th, 2026. Megadeth will join as special guests on all North American headline dates, with Anthrax coming along for the stadium shows.
Pioneering the New Wave of British Heavy Metal way back in 1975, and their name really does come from the torture device featured in the 1939 film The Man in the Iron Mask. Eddie, their mascot, has appeared on nearly every album cover since 1980. The band also has a custom Boeing 757, Ed Force One, which is piloted by Bruce Dickinson.
Iron Maiden has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, was the first heavy metal band to headline the UK's Reading Festival in 1982, and holds a Guinness World Record for the loudest concert ever, reaching 126.7 decibels at London's Brick Oven Club in 1982. They received the Ivor Novello Award for international achievement in 2002 and were inducted into the Hollywood RockWalk in 2005.
Coming out of Los Angeles in 1983 after Dave Mustaine was fired by Metallica. The band's name, Megadeth, means a nuclear devastation capable of killing millions, and along with Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax, they are the “Big Four” thrash metal bands defining the genre. The current lineup is Dave Mustaine, bassist James LoMenzo, guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari, and drummer Dirk Verbeuren.
Over the band's 42 years, there have been over 20 musician changes, with Mustaine remaining the sole constant member. Their debut album, Killing Is My Business..., had a budget of $8,000, but apparently half of that was spent on drugs and food. After 11 nominations, they won their first Grammy in 2017 for "Dystopia."
