When Imagine Dragons first entered the industry in 2009, they displayed their emotionally charged and inventive sensibilities with several independently released extended plays, grabbing the group a grassroots following. After inking a deal with hitmaking producer Alex Da Kid, their inventory expanded and their fanbase flourished. Shortly after, the pop rock quartet released their multi-platinum breakthrough track “It’s Time” and won the hearts of millions of fans around the globe. Previous hits also include the diamond-selling single “Radioactive.” This caused such a stir that the mixtape Smoke + Mirrors debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart, and snagged Best Rock Performance at the 2014 Grammy Awards! This global tour comes in support of their newest masterpiece, Loom. Set to release on June 28, this is their sixth studio album and features nine tracks. In April, Imagine Dragons treated fans to the record’s taster single “Eyes Closed.” In its immersive video, the four-piece will show that it can tour with its eyes shut as vets of the road. Talking about “Eyes Closed,” chief vocalist Dan Reynolds explained the band’s worldview going into Loom. “The world looks much different after being a band for more than a decade. But some things will always remain the same. It’s finding that right balance of nostalgia and freshness that brings me the most joy in the studio. We had a lot of fun making this one and hope you enjoy it too.”
